Glasgow Dog Training Club

Glasgow Dog Training Club has been established for over forty years and offers a high standard of training using positive re-enforcement. We are non profit making and donate to doggie charities each year.

Glasgow Dog Training Club is registered with The Kennel Club and works towards the Good Citizens Awards. We run weekly classes where members can work their way through puppy, junior, beginner, intermediate and advanced picking up Good Citizen Awards along the way. We do not run courses as in our experience our members prefer to attend weekly classes working their way up to advanced level.

Our classes are paid on a weekly basis so no payment is required up front and therefore affordable for everyone. We have a Handler of the Month Award for the dog and handler who have progressed the most throughout the month.

We have three trainers on duty in classes to enable everyone to get individual attention. We also have a fun night most months with mini fun agility and teaching tricks etc.

Lots and lots of patience that’s how I would some up all at the club, they teach with love and kindness I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. Willow was our first dog and Val and team never made us feel daft if we asked basic questions can’t thank them enough x Read more Willow Ritchie

we started with a boisterous lab puppy of 16 weeks and learned so much about our dog and how to train him …the classes let him socialise with other dogs and the friendly and caring trainers gave us added support on being ‘new owners’…..we still enjoy our weekly class 13 years later, and yes we still can learn a thing or two….older dogs (and owners) !
